Free World Foundation has been made aware of various correspondences, being circulated through e-mail, from internet websites, blogs and via regular mail or facsimile, falsely stating that they are issued by, or in association with the Free World Foundation and/ or its officials. All of these scams which request detailed information and/ or money from individuals, businesses or non-profit organisations on our behalf are fraudulent.
These scams sometimes carry Free World Foundation's logo, and originate from or refer to e-mail addresses made to look like Free World Foundation's address. Since logos, emblems, names and addresses can be easily copied or reproduced, we strongly recommend that recipients of solicitations such as those described above (whether sent by e-mail or communicated in any other way) verify very carefully their authenticity before sending any response. Financial loss and identity theft could result from the transfer of money or personal information to those issuing such fraudulent correspondences. Free World Foundation is not responsible for any such loss or theft. We are alerting the public, in an effort to ensure that innocent victims are not lured into providing their personal details.
